شرایط عمومی ثبت یک دامنه US
به طور کلی نام دامنه با پسوند US باید حداقل سه کاراکتر داشته باشد و می تواند حداکثر 63 کاراکتر داشته باشد. نام دامنه با این پسوند می تواند با یک حرف یا عدد آغاز شود و یا با یک حرف یا عدد پایان یابد. برای فاصله دادن بین کاراکترها در نام دامنه نمی توان از جای خالی((Spaceاستفاده کرد به طور مثال: (www.ab cd.us ) صحیح نمی باشد. برای فاصله دادن بین کاراکترها می توان از خط فاصله(dash ) استفاده کرد به طور مثال: (a-bcd.us) صحیح است. همچنین استفاده از کاراکترهای ? ! & * و از این قبیل در نام دامنه مجاز نمی باشند به طور مثال: (abcd@e.us ) صحیح نمی باشد.
پسوند دامنه us برای کسانی می باشد که ساکن آمریکا بوده و یا شرکت هایی که در ایالات متحده یا هر یک از نواحی آن حضور واقعی دارند، لذا موارد زیر برای ثبت دامنه با این پسوند مورد نیاز است:
Nexus Category: این گزینه دسته بندی ارتباط فرد ثبت کننده با کشور امریکا می باشد. اطلاعات پیوند ثبت کننده میتواند یکی از این ۳ نوع باشد:
-شهروند یا ساکن آمریکا
-شرکت/ واحد/ سازمان آمریکایی
-شرکت/ واحد/سازمان که در آمریکا دفتر یا حضور توأم با حسن نیت دارد.
با توجه به موارد بالا، لازم است برای گزینه Nexus Category یکی از موارد زیر را انتخاب نمایید:
C11: شخصی که دارای شهروندی ایالات متحده امریکا است. (Who is a United States citizen)
C12: شخصی که دارای اقامت دائم ایالات متحده امریکا است. (Who is a permanent resident of the United States of America or any of its posessions or territories)
C21: شرکتی که در ایالات متحده امریکا به ثبت رسیده باشد. ( U.S. Organization incorporated within one of the 50 states or a U.S)
C31: شرکتی که بصورت مستمر فعالیت قانونی از جمله فروش محصولات یا خدمات (از جمله تجاری یا غیر تجاری و یا سازمان غیر انتفاعی) در ایالات متحده امریکا دارد. (Regularly engages in lawful activities)
C32: شرکتی که دفتر یا تجهیزاتی در ایالات متحده امریکا دارد. (Entity has an office or other facility in the US)
Nexus Country:نوع کشور
لازم است کشور مورد نظر وارد شود. این کشور با توجه به مورد یک مشخص می شود. دقت کنید که با توجه به تحریم ایران، نام ایران و کشورهای تحریم شده توسط امریکا را نمی توانید وارد کنید.

Nexus Categories
When registering a .US domain, prospective registrants must indicate their use of the domain by selecting one of the following categories:Nexus Category 1
A natural person (i) who is a United States citizen (category 11), (ii) a permanent resident of the United States of America or any of its possessions or territories (category 12), or (iii) whose primary place of domicile is in the United States of America or any of its possessions.Nexus Category 2
A United States entity or organization that is (i) incorporated within one of the fifty (50) U.S. states, the District of Columbia, or any of the United States possessions or territories or organized, or otherwise constituted under the laws of a state of the United States of America, the District of Columbia or any of its possessions or (including a federal, state, or local government of the United States, or a political subdivision thereof, and unincorporated organizations based in the United States) (category 21).Nexus Category 3
An entity or organization (including a federal, state, or local government of the United States, or a political subdivision thereof) that has a bona fide presence in the United States of America or any of its possessions or territories.If foreign entity, applicant must state country of citizenship.
Check from category list, basis for compliance with Nexus requirement - regularly sells goods in the United States; regularly provides services in the United States; regularly engages in business activities, trade or other business (commercial or non-commercial including not-for-profit) relations in the United States (category 31);
Maintains an office or other property within the United States (category 32).
Nexus requirements can be entered during the registration process, and altered via the Members area Web Interface.
Note: By agreeing to the policies of the registry, Registrants agree to having one of these requirements. Nothing further is required from the Reseller to prove the Registrant has a legitimate registration.
